Thank you for answering. You are indeed correct that there appears to be
two calculations. However, I don't believe that I restarted without
saving, as the web interface (w2web) automatically prompts to save the
files before continuing. I wonder if it could be related to NFS
conjestion? I will look into it.

At any rate, if an incorrect restart is the reason, I'm sorry to have
bothered the list with this problem.
