Hello Martin,
the 'zero of energy' in WIEN is defined as the mean value of the potential in the interstitial region - is that your question?
There's no real vacuum in a system with periodic boundary conditions, though of course you can do slab calculations ....
Kevin.

Dear All,
What is the definition of fermi energy = 0 in WIEN?
Is it equivalent to the state of vacuum?
Thank you very much
Martin
