Dear Wien users,

I am using absoft compiler on machine with Linux 8.0.
I am not able to compile many of the programs. I am getting error messages
of the following kind:

f90 -o ./dstart reallocate.o struct.o rotmat.o waves.o errclr.o errflg.o
deter.o kdelta.o gtfnam.o recpr.o rotdef.o sphbes.o stern.o
latgen.o rgen.o
   somm1.o stars1.o ylm.o kapp.o rotate.o somm2.o dstart.o
outerr.o gbass.o matmm.o cputim.o -lU77
/usr/absoft/lib/libfio.a(lowlevel.o): In function `_temp_file':
lowlevel.o(.text+0x10): the use of `tempnam' is dangerous, better use
`mkstemp'
/usr/absoft/lib/libfio.a(ioerr.o): In function `_ioerr':
ioerr.o(.text+0x16e): `sys_errlist' is deprecated; use `strerror' or
`strerror_r' instead
dstart.o: In function `main':
dstart.o(.text+0x1f8d): undefined reference to `CPUTIM'
dstart.o(.text+0x2009): undefined reference to `CPUTIM'
dstart.o(.text+0x4253): undefined reference to `CPUTIM'
dstart.o(.text+0x7036): undefined reference to `CPUTIM'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [dstart] Error 1

The above message is part of the compile.msg of SRC_dstart.

f90 -O -f free -c afminput.f
f90 -o ./afminput afminput.o -lU77
/usr/absoft/lib/libfio.a(lowlevel.o): In function `_temp_file':
lowlevel.o(.text+0x10): the use of `tempnam' is dangerous, better use
`mkstemp'
/usr/absoft/lib/libfio.a(ioerr.o): In function `_ioerr':
ioerr.o(.text+0x16e): `sys_errlist' is deprecated; use `strerror' or
`strerror_r' instead

I also have go the above message during compilation of some other files.

Please let me know what changes i need to make during compilation.

Thanking you in advance.
With regards,

Nandan
