[Wien] sun ultra 450 elite 3d

I have just got my hands on a 4 processor sparc machine (its about 5 years old but I thought I'd give it a try). Does anyone have any recomendations for OS version and compiler that I would need. I saw that the sun webpage offers a trial single processor compiler. I was wondering if this is sufficient for running k-paralisation.


Hope someone has some suggestions
