Dear users,
I have studied the mail list archive but still it is not very clear for me
how to use the Euler angles for a hexagonal case when you want to do EELS
orientation dependant calculations? As far I know the Euler transformation
is between two carthesian systems. How that work when you have a hexagonal
case?
For instance if you want to hit the specimen in the ab plane you can use
(0,90,0) but the question is along of which direction will be the beam?
Along of x [11-20] or along of [01-10] which is perpendicular on y?
Thank you in advance,
Sorin
