[Wien] Error in Parallel LAPW1

I'm running into problems with crashes in lapw1 without any apparent
diagnostic information. A "grep -i -e err -e warn *" gives
2x2c.dayfile:>   stop error
2x2c.output2: no read error
Binary file 2x2c.vector_1 matches
Binary file 2x2c.vector_2 matches
Binary file 2x2c.vector_3 matches
Binary file 2x2c.vector_5 matches
lapw1.error:**  Error in Parallel LAPW1
lapw1.error:**  check ERROR FILES!
:parallel:**  check ERROR FILES!

(The binary files have "err" in then, although this may not be relevant.)
Any suggestions where to look?
