Dear Ali Saad,

 from the DOS you can see how the  different orbital characters  are 
distributed along the whole range of valence energy and
 therefore  you can select  
from DOS a certain energy range with  a certain orbital character (often it 
has different contributions and therefore more than a single character) and 
see the orbital shapes in the electron density.
