Hi everyone:

Recently I calculated bandstruct of a semiconductor, but unfortunately the
Fermi

Energy is at the bottom of conduction band instead of at the top of valence
band, and

Apparently there is a band gap between conduction band and valence band.
What on earth

does that mean? Could you please help me?

Thank you very much

Hao
