Maybe you check the website with the SPECS results
http://www.spec.org/cpu2000/results/cfp2000.html

there you should find results for the XEON 5000 series,
or just wait until my new one (2x5160) will be delivered.

Cheers
Gerhard

As I said, I have not heared explicit timings from the new Xeon
generation. From Intels website one can see that the newest generation of
Xeons seem to be similar to Conroe (clock, FSB) and have a low power
consumption. (65 Watt)

I've not heared about 8 core (4 Xeons) boards either, so if this is a
requirement for you, bad luck. (I think I've heared an announcement of
4 core Intel cpus released by the end of this year, but not sure.)

see www.intel.com/products
