Here are some benchmarks for the new Conroe E6600. 103 seconds with E6600 @ 2.4Ghz 88 seconds with E6600 @ 2.8Ghz Ram was only ddr2 533 (recommended for system is 800) so these are really slowing the system down. other info ifort 9.1.037 + cmkl8.1.1 OMP_NUM_THREADS=2 Michael
