Hello Igor,
Visiti the site http://www.ghfecher.de/html/bandstructure.html
it is very helpful.
Also if you have a Linux installed you will also need to install fortran compiler and math kernel libraries before you install Wien. You can download the fortran compiler and mkl library free from the intel site. It will also give you installation instructions.
All the best
Chandrika

  Subject: [Wien] installation

  Dear Wiener Users,
I am new member of a broad family of users of Wien package, but I am also new inexperienced user of linux operating system (redhat). Therefore, I even have problems in Wien 25 instalation. So, if anyone of you has some free time to write me basic instructions how at least to install the package, I would be very happy. I downloaded the whole package and according to the manual I have to somewhere write and execute some orders like tar -xvf wien2k_00.tar etc.
My first question is in which linux programe should I write this orders (script) and how to execute them. Thx, a lot.
  Regards,
  Igor
