[Wien] JOINT question

Hi all,
I'm running Wien2k/07 on an Altix Cluster on a Linux OS using a PBS
queueing system. I'm modelling the eloss for both bulk Aluminium and
also slabs of Aluminium. In previous versions of Wien2k, in order to
find the plasma frequency, I ran JOINT with the 6 option in the
case.injoint file, and the case.outputjoint file gave me the plasma
frequency, in Aluminiums case around 12 eV giving a plasmon peak at
around 15 eV. However, with Wien2k/07 the JOINT operation with option 6
gives me a plasma frequency of approximately 40 eV, giving a plasmon
peak at around that energy, well away from the observed spectra.
I've found that using JOINT with option 7 does give me the appropriate
values for the plasma frequency.
What has changed from older versions to the current version of JOINT?
What is the difference between option 6 and option 7?
Any help would be great, thanks.
