[Wien] Wien2k compilation on IBM Power 5+

Dear Colleagues,

I am trying to compile Wien2k_08.1 on IBM Lower 5+ with the following
options:

Current settings:
 O   Compiler options:        -O3 -qarch=pwr5 -q64
 L   Linker Flags:            -L../SRC_lib -q64
 P   Preprocessor flags       '-WF,-DParallel'
 R   R_LIB (LAPACK+BLAS):     -lessl /sara/sw/lapack/3.1.1/lib/liblapack.a

A typical error which I always receive during the compilation
is the following:

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-suse-linux/3.3.3/../../../../lib64/libessl.so:
undefined reference to `_xlf_create_threadlocal'

I would be grateful for an advice of somebody who has an experience with
IBM fortran xlf90 and essl package.
