[Wien] How can I run the job on the background?

Hello,

If you run a serial job, nohup command may work.

$ nohup run_lapw -cc 0.001 -i 40 &

for details, please see man page(e.g. $ man nohup).

If you are the only one using that computer:

at now <enter>
run_lapw -cc 0.001 -i 40 <enter>
<ctrl-d>

If multiple users are on that computer: consider using a queuing system ;-)
