[Wien] WIEN2k can not find the variable MKL_TARGET_ARCH

DO:
ls -als $MKLROOT/lib

what do you see: is there a directory
em64t     or   intel64    or  some 32-bit system ???

Put instead if $(MKL_TARGET_ARCH)   whatever you have.

PS: I'm using on our cluster the same compiler version as you have, but when
you execute the recommended     compilervars.sh    script, you should have
these variables defined.

/opt/intel/composer_xe_2011_sp1.8.273/mkl/lib/intel64/
