[Wien] the differences between rhoplot and "gnuplot splot "file name""

Dear all,
I used rhoplot as well as "gnuplot, splot "rho-file-name"" to display the electron density maps, however, the later method using gnuplot displayed very strange electron density map.
Thus, is it possible for me to use something like "gnuplot, splot rho-file-name" to display the electron density maps?
