[Wien] xmgrace error

File -> Open apparently does not work [1,2].

The simplest solution should be to open the file in a terminal with the 
command:

xmgrace case.bands.agr

Alternatively, in the top menu of the GUI, select Data -> Import -> 
ASCII, then:

a) change dat to agr in the Filter and press enter, select the location 
of the agr file in Directories, and double left-click the case.bands.agr 
file in the Files.

or

b) type the full path including the filename 
(/path-to-agr-file/case.bands.agr) in the Selections and press enter.

The plot should appear, then click the Cancel or x button (and not the 
OK button so that the sets under "Read to graph" are read only once).
