[Wien] Partially resolved compile error

Since your system is a Samsung laptop with an Intel Pentium dual core 
processor, the solution should be to change the install options so that 
it uses non-mpi.

Run siteconfig, set the parallel options so that is does not use mpi, 
and recompile:

username at computername:~/WIEN2k$ ./siteconfig
...
Selection: P
...
Shared Memory Architecture? (y/N):y
...
Enter N / your_specific_command: N
...
Do you have MPI, Scalapack and FFTW installed and intend to run
    finegrained parallel?
...
  (y/n) n
...
Selection: R
...
Selection: A

N.B., mpi is usually not beneficial unless you are using a cluster [
