Hi,

Only direct transitions are taken into account

Subject: [Wien] direct or indirect absorption?

Dear Wien2k users,

Does the absorption generated by OPTIC include contributions from indirect transitions? I personally think only direct transitions have been taken into account. Because to compute the contribution of indirect transition, one has to know about the dispersion of phonon. Is that right?

With regards,

Fan
