OS, Ubuntu using WSL2 on a windows 10 system, 4 core Intel(R) Core(TM)
i7-5600U CPU @ 2.60GHz, oneapi ifort+icc+mkl

omp_global=1 Wall 43.53 (=CPU)
omp_global=2 Wall 33.75 CPU 66.58

WSL2 with virtualization turned on seems to be useful, although omp not
great (maybe wrong omp libraries). WSL1 is significantly slower, and
WSL2+Ubuntu seems to be significantly faster than Cygwin.
