[Wien] Umklapp with plasmons

Does anyone know of papers which discuss the presence (more likely the
absence) of Umklapp in plasmon excitations, particularly for swift
electrons (50-500 keV)? This is something which can probably be calculated
by a DFT/BSE or similar approach, and is relevant to understanding the
image contribution of plasmon losses in HREM images.
