[Wien] ifx status?

Hallo Laurence,
I use ifx and icx (from OneAPI 25) both with -O2 and sometimes -O3 without problems for various programs including Wien2k
usually I use for Intel cpu's the optimisation with -xHost. 
So far I did not try very intensive the AVX-512 instructions, but oly for one Monte Carlo program.

Maybe one has to take care on the "small" version of the compiler.

The easiest way is to work with modules that allow easily to swith berween the envoromment and programs.

Typically I use  (note:  -free for Wien2k and other free form codes only)
(-free) -w -O3 -xHost -fp-model=precise
(-free) -w -O3 -xAVX2 -fp-model=precise
or similar.

I am thinking about installing ifx to access the additional registers etc for Emerald Rapids nodes. What is the current status of ifx compilation? Can -O2 etc be used or are optimizations (still) broken?
