<div>Hi, well-beloved prof. Blaha and wien2k users,</div>
<div> What are the main differences between the cohesive energy and the formation energy of a compound? In some papers, the authors think the cohesive energy is the same as the formation energy in physical meaning. But in other papers, the authors think the two physical concepts are different in physical meaning, saying Acta Materialia 50 (2002) 3301-3315. Which is right? Any comments are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

<div> Best regards.</div>
