On all our Intel based systems (no experience with AMD) and different Linux systems (mostly SUSE but also other distributions),<br>

Newest versions of Linux, Intel compilers etc run only on test machines, but never on the computers for dayly work.<br>

just within the last few month there were many requests and answers about the same or nearly the same issue.<br>

By the way, I still use the 11.1.075 version of the Intel compiler that causes no troubles with Wien2k (as registered user one can download it still from Intel)<br>
and I did not see that it creates much slower executables compared to 12.xxx composer versions (Never change a winning team).<br>

Unexperienced users always should avoid using the latest updates without knowing how to "repare" bugs<br>
especially if they are regularly reported in this forum. (Note: new Versions are not automatically better just because an update is available)<br>
