<DIV>I have ver.11.</DIV>
<DIV>I am studying a 5d system.<BR>I obtained a metal-insulating transition
using U_eff scheme in LDA+U+SOC.<BR>I also used U and J inputs to get the
transition, and obtained an insulating state in LDA+U.<BR>However, LDA+U+SOC
calcualtions cannot open a gap even for 3 times larger value of U.<BR>I am
wondering whether others have similar experience.<BR>If you have any comment,
could you let know it?<BR></DIV>
