[Wien] .machines file

Maybe you have to write the .machines file on the fly in your loadleveler
job. See the faq page at www.wien2k.at (PBS queueing system,...)

Please have a look into the UG (parallelization and description of
.machines file. There is even an example for a very complicated situation.

This seems to be your main problem.
cd $WIENROOT
ls -alsp lapw1*

you should see a link     lapw1cpara --> lapw1para      and
                          lapw1para -->  lapw1para_lapw
