Dear Wien users,

I made a mistake.  This patch/hack really does work if you follow the
instructions _properly_.  Many thanks to Wenhui Xie for this useful
workaround.  There is just one, seemingly benign, side effect that a line
...

ifc: Command line warning: no action performed for specified object file(s)

... appears at each compilation.  As I say, this appears to be purely 
cosmetic but if anyone knows how to make it go away please let me know.
