[Wien] DOS Problems and tetra using intel ifc8.1 -r8 option

It seems that the problem to calculate the DOS is related to the fact that 
some variables in tetra.f are declared as real*4, but only in tetra.f and not 
in the subroutines  that are called (here some variables are not declared !? 
and implictit set), -r8 will set implicit to real*8, so that the type of the 
variables is not the same in tetra.f and some subroutines.

The same may appear in joint where also some variables are declared as Real*4.

Is it really necessary that those variables are real*4 ? Or does everything 
work fine if those are declared as real*8 ?
