You seem to have bad luck, attracting strange hidden bugs in the software...

A quick search on groups.google.com for the "IPO link: can not find" part
of the error message turns up just such a case as the first hit (at least 
for me), with a response by Intel's Steve Lionel. 
Apparently this is caused by an incompatibility between the intel compiler
and a new linker option in Fedora4. He suggests to add "-no-ipo" to the
options to work around the problem - i guess editing the LDFLAGS= line at
the top of the Makefile in SRC_reformat should do, but i do not have Fedora4
here to actually try it myself.
