[Wien] Can the frozen phonon of wien2k calculate the phonon DOS independently?

Hi,all users of wien2k:
   I want to perform the calculation of phonon DOS.But the userguide shows that phonon DOS calculation can only be done under the circumstance of combining the frozen phonon and the program PHONON in page 59. Is it necessary to combine the two programs in order to calculate the phonon DOS? Please give me a hint.Thank you in advance.
