[Wien] INTEL XEON EM64T IFORT 9.0 MKL 9.0

Hi,

- I am trying to install wien2k_05.6 on an Intel Xeon Dual EM64t with Red
Hat Enterprise 4, ifort 9.0 and Intel mkl 9.0.

- The purpose of my calculations is to get xray emision espectra in Ce
compounds.

- All the WIEN2k programs can be compiled but not linked anyway. LD shows
the following error message '--short-section' is not recognized. I am
loosing the hope to work under this hard+soft configuration after 2 weeks.
At the begining, I have used the configuration option "J" in the
"siteconfig_lapw" script. Clearly, It does not work because it is configured
for ifort 8.1 and mkl 7.0. 

Any hope for this kind of system and software?
