[Wien] parallel jobs Dual XEON EM64T machine

For your case, a single computer with two prosessors, shared memory  machine is recommended to be selected. Then creating a proper machines  file is all one needs to do in each work directory. 
  A typical machines file for your case is of the form:
  
1:localhost
1:localhost
granularity:1
extrafine
  that you would change the localhost to your current machine name.
  
  Now just add -p switch to your run_lapw command: run_lapw -p
