[Wien] structeditor

I've been trying to get structeditor to work on fedora 5 x86_64 (latest
wien2k). Although it seems to compile fine (no errors at all), there are
somethings that I cant get to work. I can load a struct file and
manipulate it, but I cannot show it or save it

both savestruct and showstruct result in the following

forrtl: severe (24): end-of-file during read, unit 10,
file /media/250Gb/Wien2k/Ge_111_BULK/struct.write

I'm using ifort 9.1.037 and cmkl8.1
