[Wien] Quad core dual processor versus Dual core quad processor machines

Dear All

Is anyone aware of the performance difference of Wien2k under full load 
(ie 8 separate k-points) on either a Dual processor Quad core Xeon 
machine, versus the same job on a Quad processor Dual core 7100 series 
Xeon machine?  In other words 8 jobs on 8 cores, but in different 
configurations.

What is the difference in relative performance if only 1 k-point is run 
in parallel (OMP_NUM_THREADS=8) on each of the above?

How do Itanium processors compare?
