This will most likely be OK. But then you still have a problem if you
want to use e.g. 'x nn' on the command line, isn't it? A quick
workaround is to make an alias such that e.g. xx refers to
$WIENROOT/x_lapw, and use then 'xx nn' on the command line. Not really
elegant...
