[Wien] How to connect to supercomputer from linux

hop00 is not a full domainname, but only the first part of it.
Of course one can configure a system, so that it automatically appends 
the full domain, but just consider your email:
dhguo at cat.hokudai.ac.jp

You are sending from a computer "cat", but of course from a foreing site 
I cannot send to "cat", but I need to specify the full domain
cat.hokudai.ac.jp

I don't know the domain of your supercomputer, but maybe it is something 
like:
http://jop00.hokudai.ac.jp:7890
