Dear WIEN2k users,

We would like to announce that the program of our

                  20th WIEN2k workshop
The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, USA

Monday, August 12 to Friday, August 18, 2013

is now available at http://www.mri.psu.edu/conferences/wien/

This year the workshop will last one more day (5 days) to cover more
features!

In particular new topics like the calculation of
        NMR chemical shifts
Polarization, Born charges, piezoelectricity (Berry phases)
        Wannier functions
will be covered.

The workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the use, power and
limitations of the WIEN2k package with the tutoring of the authors and
developers of the code. The activities will be aimed at graduate
students and researchers from industry and academia. The only
pre-requisite is to have a basic knowledge of solid state physics, and
chemistry. It is planned as a five-day activity with lectures on the
scientific aspects of the method, applications, hand-on activities on
selected examples. It is also a unique opportunity to receive a head
start on your personal project.
