[Wien] Assignment of session ID for w2web

Dear people in WIEN2k community,

after updating the WIEN2k code in my machine, I can not find the previously stored sessions in the welcome page of w2web, while the corresponding folders and files are all remaining.  The cause should be that the files in "sessions" folder under the ".w2web" were lost in the course of setting up of w2web.  Then I am thinking about re-creating the files in the "sessions" folder by copying and editing any existing one, so that I can access the old ones via w2web.  

At this point, can I find anywhere (other than the "sessions" folder) the session ID previously assigned to the stored sessions ?  Or can I just assign any session ID at random (as long as it does not make duplication) ?

I would be grateful if I could receive any advice.
