[Wien] error in x wplot

w90chk2chk.x is for converting the .chk to plain text so you can read it
and check for problems (or transfer it to another machine without binary
compatibility).  It is not useful to call it before ‘wplot’.

I notice that this error comes from a different line than before.  Is it
possible that w90chk2chk replaced the binary .chk with the plain-text
one, i.e. that wplot is trying to read a text file as binary?

Otherwise I cannot say any more than I already have.
