Don't forget to mention the magnificent vines of the Loire valley !!!
If anyone cares for a recommendation: on my wishlist are wines from 
Anjou and from Saint Nicolas de Bourgeuil :-)

Of course the real connaisseurs will go hunting for a Sancerre ....
