Dear Wien Users,
I have a Mac machine installed with w2web and it is connected to the
internet.
As I experience, all of the w2web functions work fine except one:
In the "run SCF" panel, I check the box in between "Email
notification" and "to" and provide my email address as jxzhu at lanl.gov.
I got the following display:
Mon Sep 15 09:44:32 MDT 2008 Mail version 8.1 6/6/93. Type ? for help.
"/var/mail/jxzhu": 21 messages 21 unread >U 1
....
Unknown command: "TiC" Held 21 messages in /var/mail/jxzhu
The default mail utility on the machine is Mac Mail. I understand that
my machine is not a mail server. Does it need to be a mail server to
use this w2web
email notification?
Since I did a limited browse over wien user archive, I am not sure
this problem/question has been
posted and discussed. Your sharing is greatly appreciated.
Jianxin
